About Us

Eve and Shelley opened Twisted Yarns February 12, 2004 in Old Town Spring, Texas (near Houston). Since then, the store has added several enthusiastic employees and many new yarn vendors. We have yarn, needles, books, patterns, supplies and more. In addition, there are ongoing classes for all levels of knitting experience and interest. Please let us know what you are interested in learning.

We’re very excited about our involvement with knitting for charities, so please check that out for opportunities to knit for a worthy cause. If you would like us to feature one of your favorite charities, please email twistedyarns@earthlink.net and we’ll add it to our charity knitting page.

RETURN POLICY UPDATE:

Effective November 1st, 2006, we will only accept returns of needles and/or accessories
for 2 weeks from the date of purchase. This should give you time to do a gauge swatch and swap needle sizes if necessary. As always, your return must be accompanied by your receipt, no exceptions! Also, returns on yarn will only be accepted for 1 year from date of purchase. This should give you plenty of time to complete a project, or at least have an idea if you will need the extra yarn. As a reminder, you are more than welcome to use our swift & ball winder, however, once you wind your yarn, it is yours, no exceptions. There are no returns on wound yarn, or yarn that has been used in any way.
